Local issues – LebCo
I can see this active, able group making a difference in local, regional and state government, provided that we focus on a common long-term goal and patiently work to achieve short-term goals over specific time periods. Because Democrats cover such a wide range of beliefs, I cannot quite see what the long-term goal might be – that’s the benefit of getting a bunch of creative people together to brainstorm ideas. Of course, there might be a long-term goal in existence already … I have not been much involved over the past three years. Is there one for LebCo Dems? I would like to hear it, for purposes of this group planning a strategy.

How about organizing a brainstorming session to work out goals? We could start with the work Yasmine Brown did to make platform suggestions for the Obama campaign. Those were national in scope but something similar could be done locally. The Democratic Office could be used if desired.
